I am SPINE-ALLY feeling better and getting back into my workout routine after a couple months off due to a herniated disc in my neck. Starting at square one is never easy so I do everything I can to get and stay motivated – including cute workout clothes and a bomb ass playlist. Real talk – if the music sucks, my mind wanders QUICK and my performance deteriorates. This specific playlist is geared towards cardio and weightlifting. I tend to like fast paced rock/pop/rap (read: angry chick music) (just kidding) (sort of) for my cardio and anything with a good beat for weightlifting so I can stay on tempo with my reps. The list is a little over an hour long, about 30ish minutes of each starting with the cardio. So without further ado… here is my carefully curated “Gym Beats” playlist :
  • Knockout by Lil Wayne
  • We’re Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister
